A thumbs up sign is something that denotes a victory. One of the most used is the V symbol with the first two fingers of the right hand. This also represents victory and might look funny at times. A thumbs up sign looks stylish and at the same time can signal a huge victory. For instance, when the Mumbai terror attacks got over, I saw a national security guard signaling to the media with that thumbs up signal. It was really a great sight and instead of shouting victory chants, these small identifiers can be used with great effect!!!
